Bahram III Becomes King

Bahram III CoinBahram III known as Sakanshah (King of Sistan) becomes the new Sassanid king. His reign lasts for only 4 months and his uncle Narsi (293-301) , the son of Shapour I becomes king. Narsi was defeated by Roman Galerius and in a treaty made in 298, 5 regions in Armenia were given to Romans. This treaty lasted for 4 years. (Updated: Feb, 4, 2008)
